The Moray Firth is an inlet of the North Sea that extends towards Inverness. Famous for its resident population of bottlenose dolphins, the Firth has become a popular tourist destination and many boat trips are now offered. With around 500 miles of coastline, the inlet is the UK's largest and supports significant populations of many species of flora and fauna.
